Read in full, publishes no figure

22 named sources were read in full on the dates shown and print no usable figure. They are counted, never filled in.

Methodology

Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through our fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2).

11 of the 33 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 22 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 5 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere.

The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in USD (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 147 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded.

The fuller derivation this dataset is chartered to grow into (not yet what the figures above are; they are each source's own published figure as read): the median, minimum and maximum PUBLISHED price per employee per month across every provider that publishes one, split by model (payroll bureau, ASO, PEO) and by pricing shape (flat per-employee, base fee plus per-employee, percent of payroll, per-location, flat annual licence), plus the number that publishes NOTHING - which on this market is the finding: of the payroll bureaux read, most post a rate; of the PEOs read, almost none does.

The base-fee-plus-per-employee shape means the real figure is a CURVE, so the index computes the all-in monthly cost at 5, 10, 25 and 100 employees for every provider that publishes both components, which is the number a buyer cannot get anywhere and every comparison post estimates.

Repriced-since the previous read.

147 candidate sentences on these pages were refused by a reviewer; each refusal and its reason is recorded in the review ledger.
