What this service is
Payroll Services Quotes is an independent comparison site and an introduction service. We publish providers' advertised prices, checked word for word against their own pages, and on request we pass your requirements to providers that fit them. We are not a payroll bureau or a professional employer organisation, we do not run payroll, and we give no tax, legal or employment advice. Any price a provider quotes you is between you and that provider.
How we are paid
Nothing on this site is paid for by a provider. No provider has bought a place in the price record, an ordering, a badge or a mention, and no figure changes because a provider would prefer a different one. How we are paid: providers pay us for an introduction you have asked us to make, after you consent on the quote form. You never pay us anything. That arrangement is why the site can exist and it never decides whether or how a provider appears on these pages, because the record is compiled from providers' own published pages before any of them is contacted.
About the price record
The price record on this site is compiled by fetching each provider's own published pages and matching every quoted figure word for word against the page text, storing the quote, the source URL and the date it was read. A provider that publishes no price is recorded as publishing none; a provider whose page we could not read is recorded separately as unread, because the two are different facts. State coverage is recorded only where the provider maintains its own live page for that state. Figures go stale: each carries its retrieval date, and any figure older than the freshness window is re-checked or removed rather than left standing.
No warranty
The record is compiled carefully and it is not a substitute for the provider's own quote. Advertised prices are starting prices for a stated tier and one state; your bill depends on headcount, pay frequency, the states you file in and the add-ons you take. We give no tax, legal, accounting or employment advice, we do not run payroll, and we are not a professional employer organisation. Any agreement you reach is between you and the provider.
